Penrith Panthers lost

 South Sydney is one win away from just its second grand final in 50 years after beating Penrith 16-10 in a stunning upset in the NRL qualifying final.

This was a close match sadly Penrith Panthers lost to the Rabbitohs. For yous that don't know Penrith Panthers are my favourite team out of all the nrl teams. Sadly my team's season ended with a loss which means they are not going to the grand final.

Penrith haven’t won a premiership since 2003. Sadly that makes 18 years since Penrith have won the premiership. The first week of the premiership Penrith Panther were doing well until they lost to the Rabbitohs. Which was the first week of the semis final.

One of my favourite players is brian to'o. He plays wing for the penrith Panthers.  brian To'o also played  state of origin in 2021 this year. He is samoan & also grew up in Mount druitt If you don't know where Mount druitt is it, is located in Western Sydney. Mount Druitt is mostly Known because of a group called Onefour, Onefour are an Australian drill and Rap group originating from the Western Sydney.

Task Description: Today in te maori we have done some work. some things i found 

interesting was the task at the end it was fun making an finding out new stuff & i would like

Why Music is Better than Sports. In my opinion I think music is better because you can listen to your favorite artists and it motivates you. For example 2pac & nipsey hussle and many more rappers are still making million of dollars & there dead. Participating in a music program provides many of the same benefits as participating in sports. Teamwork, discipline, focus and fun are just some of them. A music program will also improve your thinking skills and physical coordination. Improving language and reasoning skills and many athletes use music in diverse ways in order to achieve a certain level of focus and concentration before a game or competition as well.

Valerie Adams

Task description: Today in literal my group gee got given a task about Valerie Adams if

 you don't know who is Valerie Adams is she is a famous athlete she dose shot-put & 

her older brother is a professional baskball players he plays for the thunders. 

The Cindy Limpics

Task description: Today in class we had literacy. We got given a task about Olympics

            i found it quit easy and fun to work on. The book was about the a story it was

                                               called The Cindy Limpics.

Task Depreciation: Today we have got given a task in our tae Maori class. 

The thing i loved most about this was making my only slides & the worlds. 

             Most of all i liked how we learnt the Maori colors  

Introduction:

Task description: Today we have done a task with maths. Introduction 

we have to put all the numbers an minutes into the right places. I love this task the most 

because near the end we have to put the clocks in place aswell.

 Hello I am going to talk about how you can become a very good league player, 

If you don't know what rugby league is, it's like rugby but you don't contest your appointment when you tackle. for example if i tackle  to the floor i don't blow over or try get the ball well you're on the floor. 

Here are some things you need to know if you wanna make it into the nrl: you must be experienced & talented . Most of all you have to be  fit and healthy and always turning up to your training so you know how to tackle or how to fend.  Working hard is another key to getting fit. 

There are a lot of good teams for example Panthers, Broncos, Sydney Roosters and Rabbitohs those are good teams you might end up playing for you never know.

Task description: This is my speech from last week but i presented today in front of the class i was nervous an kinda shy. Just looking back i could have done better an more i really liked talking an presenting to the class would love to do it more.

State of Orgin

Game Too: down the drain did you see the game last night 26-0 new south wales with the win. Sadly Queensland could have got how many tries but they always lose the ball when they get close to the tryline. Xavier Coates did a amazing super man dive but then Tom Trbojevic came outta nowhere and blocked Xavier Coates so he didn't score.

But did you see Latrell Mitchell run away? I thought he was flash for a second when he had the ball. He is one of the fastest people in nsw really skill & fit. Latrell Mitchell is an Indigenous Australian professional rugby league player who plays as a fullback for the South Sydney Rabbitohs and Australia at international level. 

Next Half. Brian To'o almost had a wide gap to you all his speed but got caught by the fullback Valentine Holmel from qld. Brinan To’o is one of my favourite players from nsw he is really skilful and incredible with his speed and steps.

 OMG!!!! Did you hear the breaking news last night sadly qld lost to nsw by 50. Brian To'o the winger for Penrith Panthers an nsw he scored two tries I was really surprised. Did you see his superman dive? It was incredible. Brian To'o one of the ex-samoa rugby league players, again one of the best players for a winger. His best friend Jarome Luai is a Samoan international rugby league footballer who plays as a five-eighth or halfback for the Penrith Panthers in the NRL Luai represented Samoa at the 2017 World Cup 

 Wanna find out more things about But Brian To'o that smile masks the despair of losing his little sister to cancer a day before his 10th birthday. The year was 2008 and To'o was forced to say goodbye to eight-year-old Dannielle, who passed away after a short battle with the dreaded disease.  

Nathan is the son of the professional rugby league footballer and his current coach, Ivan He spent a number of his childhood years living in Auckland, New Zealand while his father was playing for, and later coaching, the New Zealand Warriors.

Those are my three Favourite players from nsw i would love to see the next game for nsw and qld state of origin. My number one player was Brian To'o. He was inspired by rugby league and his family & im looking forward to the next game hope nsw comes home with that win.

Task description: Today in our te reo class an this is the work i did i found it fun 

putting in the location name. i found this cool&fun most of this was easy. 

I would love to lean more about te reo an many more. 

camp - reflection

 Kia ora and welcome , last week the year 8s went to leadership camp at Kauaeranga valley campsite we hop on a hour and 30 minim bus ride, went saw and had a lot of fun on the bus ride. We played songs and played games. When we had arrived there we sang a waiata to greet the people that were looking afth as for 2 nights and 3days.

That evening we did some activities to make points for our group and my group the yellow team we made about , 91000 thousand points there other groups points were insane points sady we were coming last in the lead after all the hall activities we had a kai we had biscuits. 

Later that day my group went down to the field and gocars and had lots of fun and I went fast. My group had to stand up and sing a song with the other teams. We had  fun singing and eating yummy food. We had free time after eating , then we had a shower and we went to bed but the boys were staying up and were playing games because we didn't wanna watch the movies.    

 The next day we all woke up and did our next activities. We had lots of fun and it was cool when we had our afternoon tea and then we had free time and then we had dinner and we did our team item practice.

The funniest thing the yellow group did was the zipper line and that our team won the zipper line thing. We got the most points then the other teams but that was my funniest highlights an the food was yummy, and the game was fun as well.
